Reunited online and via performances filmed at Blackheath Halls, Blackheath Halls Opera present the film première of a musical journey through Igor Stravinsky's Faustian opera, The Rake's Progress.

Loosely based on a series of paintings of the same name by William Hogarth, A Rake's Progress tells the story of Tom Rakewell's misadventures with Nick Shadow, who turns out to be the Devil.

The musical film is a shortened version of the opera with a wealth of musical talent from the professional opera stage performing alongside amateur singers and musicians in the true spirit of the annual Blackheath Halls Community Opera.
